This service guides private universities, private colleges, and foreign university branches through preparing a new academic program, checking its classification alignment, completing professional equivalency and initial programmatic accreditation where applicable, and progressing toward launch approval and an updated Program Register.

Confirm service applicability
Confirm that the institution is licensed and identify the institution type and the college or academic department that will host the program.

Prepare the program proposal and study plan
Prepare the program description, outcomes, and study plan, and map it to the appropriate six-digit code in the Saudi Unified Classification of Educational Levels and Specialisations.

Check program alignment
Review the program’s alignment with the corresponding college or academic department and the controls applicable to the institution and field.

Meet the delivery-mode requirement
Confirm that at least 10% of the study plan’s courses are delivered through non-attendance, distance, or online modes.

Complete professional and accreditation requirements
Complete professional equivalency where applicable and the initial programmatic accreditation requirements before requesting launch.

Use the official submission channel
Send the complete file through the approved official channel and address review feedback until launch approval and the Program Register update.
